- The latest report released by the World Economic Forum shows that in the next five years, nearly a quarter of global jobs will be affected by economic developments such as artificial intelligence, digitization, green energy transformation, and supply chain reshoring. About 75% of the surveyed companies stated that they plan to adopt AI technology in the next five years, and they expect AI to replace up to 26 million clerical and administrative positions, such as cashiers, ticket sellers, data entry, and accountants.[1]
